In Dialogue with Picasso

This piece is a homage to the artist who played a critical role in the liberation of art. This work also highlights the essential part that Africa played in the evolution of Modern Art. African art was a major catalyst for the radical departure from traditional European painting and I am captivated by the notion of European Art being liberated, in some way, by Africa. This work incorporates many of Picasso’s quotes.
